This week we will be celebrating Israels 64 independence day!! In honor of that, on Monday night, we'll take a musical journey with songs about national and personal freedom, peace, and the fight for change.

It's Sunday, It's Rosh Chodesh, there must be something going on!

And in fact, there is something going on. Sunday Night Live will be going on at 8:00 PM, just like it's supposed to.
This week Steve will host SNL solo, from Studio B. It's Sefirat HaOmer, so there won't be any "live" musical guests, but that doesn't mean there won't be any music. And there's certainly going to be some Torah - Music, Torah and Talk - that's what we do 'round here, and that's what we'll be doing between 8 and 10 tonight.

"Mashiv Haruach ooMorid Ha TULL!!!


That's right - In honor of switching from the "prayer for rain" to the "prayer for dew" tonight's "That's Rock and Roll" Show will BRING DOWN THE TULL and feature the music of Jethro Tull.

Starting at 9:30 PM'ish until "after midnight" Steve will feature blocks of "Tull" amidst all the other great Rock and Roll.

Don't Miss it - Tonight, right after the Newgrass/Bluegrass show (8:30 Pm 'ish) which is right after the Homegrown Hour (7 PM) which follows Benzion and Lorelai's "Returning Light" which starts at 6:00 PM we are going to pronounce those time honored words, Mashiv Haruach oo Morid Ha TULL.

Spring Is Here!

Spring is in the air ... can you feel it? Can you breathe it? After a long week of Chol haMoed Pesach and lots of relaxation, we're back with fresh new programming ...  Classic Rock Albums playing on the Final Vinyl Show from 11am - 1pm (today: Crosby Stills & Nash "Deja-Vu," Joni Mitchell's "Blue" and Jethro Tull's "Aqualung"), Music from C Lanzbom, David Ziv, Eden, Reb Shlomo, Aaron Razel, Akiva Gersh and Eitan Katz on Israel Soul Afternoon (1pm - 7pm), then  Brian will have a new spring in his step tonight at 7pm with "Brainwaves," and Maya is here tonight at 9pm with special "Spring is here" show - everything is blossoming, optimistic and new!! Songs that make us feel just that on Maya's Music of the Night. As Maya says:
"The sandals are offfff."
 So take off your sandals and wiggle your toes around! Run in the grass, smell some flowers, sit in the sunshine ... enjoy a "Sunshine Daydream," the days are ripe for it now - and we're here to be the soundtrack to your springtime, too!

That's right, the 9th Moshav Country Fair, at Moshav Meor Modiim is TODAY, Monday, April 9th, Chol Hamoed Pesach.  Are You Going to the Fair?

Now, we all know how great it is to get out on Chol Hamoed -- go for a tiyul, and what better place to tiyul than the Moshav?  Arts, Crafts, Music, Women's activities, Kids Stuff, hikes....it will be a wonderful afternoon for you and the whole family!!!!!


....but, we don't want you to miss a note...so, if you can't drop in, you can always tune in!

Chag Kasher v'Sameach - Happy Passover - Chol haMoed is HERE!

Well, after all that shlepping, schvitzing and kvetching, scrubbing and drubbing and scouring - it finally happened. Pesach (Passover) - came, and went. At least here in the Holy Land, where THANK G*D we keep 1 day of Pesach (not two, as do our bredren in Chutz l'Eretz).

How was your Seder? We hope you were surrounded by family, friends, loved ones, extended family, etc. and that your experience of the Seder was meaningful and wonderful.

We've left our personal Mitzrayims, folks! Our limitations and boundaries have been blown apart by the miracle and wonder of FREEDOM!

Let freedom ring - loud and clear! All week long on Radio Free Nachlaot we're be playing all of our REDEMPTION SONGS!
