Shavua Tov

Shabbos has come, and now it's going away --
...but we don't want to let go --
We know the week (especially here in Israel where Yom Rishon is Yom Rishon - Sunday is Day 1 - week day 1, work day 1) is starting -- but how do we make it through? Ok, so the 3rd Sabbath Meal has given us torahs and a little bit of light to put in our pockets, and take with us, but really, is it enough to make it through? So we have Melave Malke - we have songs, and food, and candles and we have a little bit more Shabbos, just a bit more to last us until we light the candles again in just 6 more days...
...and you know, we at Radio Free Nachlaot figure that since we're all in this together we need to do our part. And what is our part? Music is our part...bringing us Shlomo, and all the other songs we play all week long, it's our way of saying with a song in our hearts, and a melody on our lips we will sing our way home, and sing our way through whatever Hashem has in store for us. Dovid Hamelech (who's meal we celebrate every Saturday nigh) prayed for Hashem to put the melodies and the words in his heart so the whole world could sing along. So, what's left to do? Let's sing and dance our way into the week -- Shavua Tov, Shavua Tov, to all of us!
