Time to Cook, Time to Rock!

It's Thursday night - time to start the weekly trip towards Shabbos -- not that we haven't had Shabbos on our minds since last Saturday night -- but now the heat's on -- we are inside the 24 hour mark, shopping, cleaning, cooking, that's the physical prep -- add to that all the Spiritual / Inside stuff that needs to be aligned so that when we greet the Shabbos we are properly prepared for the great ascent...... but you know, that's not what i came here to say:
The world needs a refuah / a healing. People need a healing. We all know holy brothers and sisters that need each their own particular healing -- and you know, there's the outside approach to healing, and then the inside approach -- but i figure like this, whether we're aligning ourselves to be ready for Shabbos, or trying to align ourselves, the world, to receive the holy light of healing from Hakadosh Baruch Hu -- it's music that will bring it all down. The power of the soul as it sings to us in so many different ways and forms. Song unites us. Music will (in my humble opinion) be the key that finally opens up the gates that will allow the light to shine down.
...and if we sing loud enough will they stay open longer?
...and if we rock out will we be able to shatter seemingly unpenetrable fortresses?
i dunno - but we might as well try...
We're going to "cook" for shabbos and "cook" for health with Music as our main ingredient -- at least between 10 and 1 tonight --
(...and if this doesn't get you up and out of the hospital bed, i don't know what else I can do!)
