Everything Old is New Again

Sometimes if you wait long enough, the things you missed the first time may come around again ...which brings us to today's featured musical offering (BIG thanks to Ben Bresky and Yishai Fleisher from Israel National Radio for permission to rebroadcast selections from Ben's "The Beat" Radio Show - which is, by the way, the best!). Yes, finally Lorelai will be able to hear the ROCK AMI Concert that played last year in October at Kraft Stadium in Jerusalem. Originally planning on attending, she was unable to do so as a Funeral For A Friend (literally, sadly true) made her too distraught to listen to music. So now enough time has passed and "Lo and Behold" - you can listen to it too, this evening on Radio Free Nachlaot. The concert features  music from Soulfarm, Yood, Piamenta, the Moshav Band, Majuda, Semantra, and Gershon Veroba.

Today's Torah Schedule:
  • 1pm, 6pm, 10:30pm - Rabbi Chaim Richman's Parsha Shavua "Mispatim"
  • 3pm - Rebbetzen Rena Richman's "Bat Melech" Series Continues - "Devorah the Prophetess"

Today's Music Schedule:
  • 8am - 1pm - Lorelai's "Morning Dew for the Morning Jew" Show - mixing it up with color-themed songs and various subtle and not-so-subtle musical tributes to loved ones far and near.
  • 1pm - 6pm - "Israeli Soul" Afternoon features Neshama Carlebach, HaDag Nahash, Simply Tsfat and for those who know how "Everything Old is New Again" - Israeli '70's Supergroups Kaveret (Poogy!) and Tammuz.
  • 6pm - ROCK AMI Concert from October 2009, Kraft Stadium in Jerusalem - with music from Soulfarm, Yood, Piamenta, the Moshav Band, Majuda, Semantra, and Gershon Veroba.should be great!
  • 8pm - Eric Clapton - some say he is G*d. OK, he's not, but he IS a god with a lower-case "g" - guitar god! We'll be listening to Clapton's 461 Ocean Boulevard - get ready for a slow hand and a smooth ride!
  • 11pm - Hot Tuna! Mystic Theater (Petaluma, California) Concert from December 2000
