All Things Must Pass

Today would have been George Harrison's 67th Birthday had we not lost him to illness 10 years ago. George was the Water to Lennon and McCartney's Air/Fire energies, the emotional stream running deep beneath the music, flowing with buoyancy and pathos, always like a river rushing towards the sea where he longed to merge with the Undifferentiated One-Ness in whatever form it took. Indeed, he taught us that it's useless to "ask me if my love will grow ", because "all things must pass", but that if we have patience - "Sun, sun, sun, here it comes!"

Today's Schedule -

"Israeli Soul Afternoon" starts early (12:30pm) and includes music from David Grisman's Songs of Our Fathers and Kumah's "Aliyah Revolution" CD with performances by Aharit Hayamim Hai, The Moshav Band, Reva l'Sheva, Neshama Carlebach, Noah Solomon, Menashe Neshama Ensemble, Chaim David, Shlock Rock, Yood, Gershon Verboda, Naftali Abramson, Benzion Eliyahu Lehrer, Aspaklaria, The Footsteps, Aaron Razel and Even Sh'Siyah .

All afternoon we'll be listening to special Purim comedy audio pieces by Ariel Elisha Leon Rosen, Torahs from Rabbi Chaim Richman and Betzalel Phillip Edwards, a special "Bat Melech" on Devorah the Prophetess by Rebbetzen Rena Richman, and other aural surprises.

Starting at 6:30pm this evening we begin our tribute to George Harrison. Stay tuned for more!
